SONY DSCEvery now and then I’m genuinely pleased that I’ve paid attention to the little things that sometimes go wrong at weddings.

Take today for example. I arrived to set up two hours before the ceremony. No outside power. No problem, I have my generator.

The Best Man’s partner’s shoe heel broke. No problem. I took it to a nearby mall and returned with it fixed within 20 minutes.

The button popped off my tuxedo jacket. No problem. I carry a couple of sewing kits in my car.

A guest’s camera batteries were flat. No problem, I almost always have spare AA batteries on hand.

What challenges will the reception bring I wonder? I’ll know in an hour.
