What a fascinating season year it’s been already been. I’ve been fortunate enough to entertain clients and their guests in some of the country’s most beautiful locations and there’s more still to come before winter hits.

I saw in the New Year celebrating a surprise wedding at The Lodge at the Inlet in Pauatahanui, Wellington. I then had a few days at Lake Taupo and Ohope Beach before back-to-back gorgeous weddings at the Black Barn in Havelock North and Kaitoke Country Gardens in Upper Hutt.

Ormlie Lodge, TaradaleThe next celebrations were a pair of wonderful Martinborough weddings at Parehua and Tirohana respectively. The spectacular Erskine in Wellington was next, followed by Millbrook Resort in Queenstown. The week after that saw me at the Old Church Restaurant in Napier and the Cheval Room at the Hastings Racecourse for two weddings for the same couple- one formal and one informal.

What about March? Well this weekend I’m off to New Plymouth to help Vinnie & Eliza celebrate their wedding, then on Tuesday I’m driving to the stunning Bay of Islands in the far north to MC an invitational fishing tournament for owners of Riviera sport launches. There are a few days of big game fishing and scuba diving off a 64’ Riviera in it for me also, which isn’t disappointing at all.

I return from Whangaroa and catch a plane the next day to Dunedin to be MC for the bridal fashion parades for the Grand Wedding Show at the Edgar Centre on Sunday 28th March. In April I have a wedding at The Pines on Wellington’s South Coast, a trip to Auckland to see James Taylor and Carol King in concert and to MC for the bridal fashion parades for the Grand Wedding Show at Sky City, followed by a wedding at Porirua’s Historic Gear Homestead.

In May I’m booked at Wellington’s Ohariu Farm and the very exclusive Huka Lodge in Taupo. Enquiries are coming in steadily for later in 2010 and 2011 and who knows where I’ll be next! I sure love my work and I adore helping couples and their guests celebrate their big promise. It’s a genuine honour.
